Our neighbors brought this tiny snapping turtle over the other night.
They found it in the street and thought we might like to see it. Then they wanted us to release it safely.
It was so delicately decorated, like a miniature hand painted toy. Gorgeous! And it stank! Really, it smelled like rottenness. We had to wash and wash our hands after we dropped it into the dark damp swamp and said good luck.
