
First on the roof of the parking garage in Brattleboro we saw the old plastic owl that scares away the pigeons and Rob grabbed a photo of the roof-line.

Then we saw a real one sitting on the power line on the way home. It flew away when we got out of the car and Rob took a photo, but he caught a shot of the beautiful flight.
It landed a little ways off on the power line and then flew away again. You can catch a little glimpse of its silhouette in this shot.

A medium sized Barred Owl probably trying to hunt in the snowy cornfields until we came along. Hopefully he found a safer roost.
