Lily's B-day

at the Northfield Drive In!
We got there early and played games like tag, duck duck goose and red rover.
(the children weren't familiar with red rover and after some sore wrists and a few near-chokings I realized why it might not be played anymore!)

There was a tornado warning for the area so it was foolhardy to have the party, but we weren't the only ones risking lift off in the open field. The place was crowded and hooray the sky stayed clear.

After playing Lily had her requested birthday muffin and then we watched Marmaduke.

We got home around 11pm and were wiped out the next day, but it was great fun.
Lily said it was the best party ever!
